Bright Ideas Grants Applications Open for 2025-26 School Year

Any Fayette County Public School employee who has a BIG idea can apply for The Fayette Education Foundation’s annual Bright Ideas Grants. Applications opened on April 14. The deadline is June 4, 2025 at noon.  Access the application HERE.

These student enrichment grants are awarded to teachers, schools or programs that are part of Fayette County Public Schools to bring innovative ideas, concepts, or practices to life, or expand past successful ideas in the classroom or school.

Grants applications must align with one or more of the focus areas. Our current programmatic funding priorities include:

  • increasing literacy
  • career and technical education opportunities
  • financial literacy or education
  • STEM initiatives
  • assisting low-performing schools
  • assisting under-served populations

Applicants are encouraged to us the provided rubric for best results. Requests must be $2,000 or less.
