A Program of The Fayette Education Foundation: supported in part by Blue Grass Community Foundation

The Fayette Education Foundation (FEF) is excited to announce that applications are now open for Bright Ideas Grants (BIG), helping Fayette County Public Schools educators bring creative ideas and meaningful opportunities to students.

This year, BIG includes three grant levels designed to meet a variety of classroom and school needs:

  • Mini Grants – Up to $750 for quick-impact classroom needs and opportunities
  • Innovation Grants – Up to $2,000 for creative projects and student experiences
  • Signature Grants – Up to $5,000 for larger, high-impact initiatives tied to a special annual theme

Bright Ideas Grants help fund opportunities beyond traditional school budgets and support innovative learning, student engagement, literacy, career readiness, and more.

We can’t wait to see the ideas FCPS educators bring forward this year. Applications are open now through June 5, 2026 at midnight. Apply HERE.

In moments like this, partnership matters more than ever. We encourage our business leaders, community partners, and neighbors to continue showing up for our schools and the people who make them work. Supporting public education is not the responsibility of one system alone—it is a shared community investment in our future.

Education is everyone’s business, and now is the time to stand together for our students and for those who serve them.
